Sunday Stills: Shoes or Boots

My Ariat paddock boots:
(Note the cracked leather. I am milking these boots for all they are worth.)

Paddock boots, another view.

Shoes:
Equine style. :-)

Look like comfie paddock boots. A good cleaning and oiling and they might even look almost brand new. :)
Great idea using horse shoes, too.

I can't say much about well worn boots. I'm not home this weekend, otherwise I should have taken a picture of my oldest boots that I wear on muddy days. Love the horse shoes.

The boots look very broken in and comfortable. Nice shots.

Great job, loved your choices. :)

You can't beat old comfy boots. I've been told by my foot doctor to buy new boots every 18 months. Heck, by then they are just getting broke in! (**pout**)

I used to have a pair of those ariats and I loved them, been too lazy to get lace ups anymore.

I have a a pair of black lacers too. They used to have these cool horse hair tassels on the kilties, until a puppy who shall remain nameless (oh, all right, it was Hope) chewed the tassels off the night before I was gong to wear them to a funeral.Still have them just don't wear them much at all any more. I like the look of the photo due to the look of use of the boots. The horse shoes were a good take too!

Ariat performer pros - I had a pair for over 13 years, seriously! I switched them back and forth with tall boots...now I got new tall boots and new ariat paddocks... and guess what i want to wear lol?
